HOME Magazine Features PPN Members


The April issue of Home, a magazine for home improvement, features two ASLA members in an article about hiring landscape design pros. Designing with Roses Competition Announcement

All-America Rose SelectionsTM is pleased to announce its 2006 Designing with Roses Competition, which honors and celebrates excellence in landscape design for residential and commercial gardens. The competition recognizes specific works of landscape architecture or gardens designed professionals and /or students. Entries of all scales of design, from small gardens to large private landholdings to commercial properties areencouraged. ASLA is cooperating with AARS by providing judges, promotion, and prizes.
DEADLINE: for Entry Forms is June 15, 2006
DEADLINE FOR ALL ENTRIES: Must be received by July 7, 2006.

New Study Shows Landscaping is Top Choice!


A new study, "Driving Design: From the Front Seat to theFront Porch", fielded by Harris Interactive and Therma-Tru Doors, looks at how American homeowners find inspiration for the exteriors of their current homes or the new homes they are building. Curb appeal and landscaping is shown in this study to be a dominant influential factor.
Of course!. . . .we say, but isn't it nice to have it backed up with statistics? There is also some valuable information that can be used in developing your marketing plans.
