Annual Meeting Reflection
The 2006 ASLA Annual meeting in Minneapolis was a great success. Several attendees remarked on the high quality of educational sessions and large Expo Hall. I also want to comment that we had adequate seating for the sessions.
OK, enough with the raves. I was a little disappointed with the sustainable display in the Expo Hall. It was a good idea and hopefully, we can do a better job in San Francisco. We also did not have enough time for the PPN meeting. As usual, we had to conclude with so much more to say.
We had 30 attendees at the PPN meeting. Topics of discussion included contract content and language, and Expo products. This being an international meeting, we also welcomed landscape architects from Monterey, Mexico.
Outcomes from our discussion will be a survey of residential practice. We will provide the results to the PPN members. So, if you get a request to fill out the survey - PLEASE DO IT!!
