The Award Detective rode out Colorado way via the internet and checked out the Awards program. We turned up a few resiential design winners from 2006. The photography was beautiful (when isn't a photo of the Rockies spectacular!) Winning entries were by R Design(top), Land Designs by Ellison, Inc(center) and Bluegreen.(bottom)
Kudos also go to the Colorado Chapter ASLA for particpating with the Colorado Federation of Garden Clubs to organize Garden Tours in 2007.

2nd Annual Rose Design Competition

The 2nd Annual Designing with Roses Competition is open for entries. I had the wonderful opportunity to be one of the judges for last years competition. It was a great opportunity to review beautiful entries. The gardens were amazing and the AARS were a great group to work with.
I encourage members to enter. Your garden project does not have to be all roses. We are also looking for projects with roses integrated into the overall planting scheme.
